Pastor James Polnick felt called into ministry as a teen at youth camp in the hill country of South Texas. James attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas. He finished his credentialing process through Global University. He served in multiple ministry positions in the local church for over 20 years before planting LifePoint in 2009.
James has also worked very closely with the South Texas District of the Assemblies of God for many years. He has served in many areas including managing kids camps, retreats, serving on various committees, working with the youth department, and speaking at district ministry conferences. He has also served as the District Fine Arts Festival coordinator for the past 15 years. On a national level, he has worked over 15 years as part of the National Fine Arts Festival auxiliary staff and serves on the National Fine Arts Festival steering committee.
James married Gina May 21, 1994, and they have four children. Pastor James and Gina have a heart to reach the unchurched with the message of the gospel of Christ. They have a great passion and love for the Magnolia community and also for global missions.
